Service Projects

For many years, our club has worked in the Arlington community, providing service and funding support to projects which further our mission of advancing the status of women through service and advocacy.  Over the years we have contributed service and funding for many Arlington based community efforts and to Zonta International projects around the world.  Currently, we are  makings monetary and service contributions to :

DOORWAYS FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES
 www.doorwaysva.org which offers temporary community shelter and a resource center for abused, homeless or at-risk women and families.

ARLINGTON FREE CLINIC

www.arlingtonfreeclinic.org  which is an  organization committed to providing access to health care services to low-income, uninsured people in the community.

 

PROJECT PEACE

This project is a coordinated commitment to address domestic violence in our community.

ARLINGTON FOOD ASSISTANCE CENTER

www.afac.orgwhich is a community-based non-profit that provides supplemental groceries to those in need.

VIRGINIA HOSPITAL CENTER MEDICAL BRIGADE
  www.vhcmedicalbrigade.org  which delivers medical service annually to thousands of people in Honduras.

WOMEN IN MILITARY SERVICE FOR AMERICA MEMORIAL

http://www.womensmemorial.org which is the only major national memorial honoring women who defended America through history.
